Grace Hopper was an absolute pioneer and someone who we all have to thank for using computers. She helped program one of the first Mark 1 Computers.
It was also Grace’s forward thinking that lead to the development of computer programming languages. She helped create COBOL which was the very first of the modern computer languages.
Another feather in her cap is that she first popularised the phrase “debugging”. Check out the Doodle below:
